3 January 2020

On 7th November 2019 we celebrated the 90th anniversary of the YMCA hall here at Marson Road.  The cost of building the hall was £960 in 1929!  Today we need approximately £250,000 to upgrade the hall and make it accessible for all.  Over 100 supporters from Clevedon, including many of the young people and Y Wednesday members and volunteers who are here at the YMCA every week, representatives of other YMCA organisations from across the South West and National YMCA, came along to make a great success of the evening.

We were pleased to welcome the Venerable Adrian Youings, Archdeacon of Bath and Sue Mountstevens, Police and Crime Commissioner for Avon and Somerset to the evening.

Many thanks go to everyone who helped to make the night such a success.
